The lives of great leaders show a mixture of achievements and setbacks. In order to thrive in life, one has to make mistakes. How we learn from them helps determine who we are as a person. As a leader, one has many responsibilities. I wouldn't think less of a leader who shows weakness or failure. If anything, I would think more of them, because that's what makes them relatable. I think it would hard to follow someone who we couldn't relate to. Someone who makes mistakes every now and then is normal. However, if the person was always making mistakes that affected their people, I wouldn't think they were a good leader. One example of a great leader is Gandhi. Gandhi had overcome much triumph and tragedy in his lifetime. Gandhi worked to change the world in a nonviolent way, which was rare for his time. Many people doubted him, and even though Gandhi refused to hurt anyone or prove his points using violence, didn't mean that others were not afraid to do so. Gandhi was attacked and hurt, and he did nothing to fight back physically.
The rest is still unwritten.

If there was suddenly no alphabet...
The world without an alphabet would be very chaotic and confusing. The alphabet, and writing is one of our main ways of communication. Driving would be extremely dangerous, because we wouldn't have road signs or traffic laws posted. People would have to use more common sense and maps, without relying on street names, it would be very hard to do. Learning would be hard, because we wouldn't have books. It would be hard to document things because you wouldn't be able to write anything down. People would probably use video recording more in order to document important moments rather than writing them down. In a way nothing would exist, because everything has a name. Life would be very confusing and complicated if the alphabet suddenly did not exist.

Writing A Resume Reflection
Creating a resume was very different than I thought it would be. To start my resume, I had to think of what job I was applying for. I never knew that a resume was specific to the job you're applying for, I always thought they were more universal, but they're not. In the cover letter I made it specific for the job I was applying for, which is the Pet's Pajamas Pet Store. I mentioned that I was good with animals and social interaction, because that's what I would be working with If I were to get the job. I also talked about my experience working with animals and people, my school and my grades, and the activities I partake in. My perception of resumes has changed since we first started learning about them. I thought making a resume would be hard and boring, and while it wasn't easy talking about myself, it wasn't boring, and I thought it is something that will become very useful when I need to actually apply for a job in the near future.

Hi, I'm Lauren. I'm an idealist and a wishful thinker. Taylor Swift Fanatic. I'm learning to love the beauty of the disheveled mess I am. I'm eighteen years old, and I'm from Ohio. Someday I'll live in South Carolina or Georgia or Tennessee or Texas. Or really anywhere that it doesn't rain half the year. I love stories and books and lyrics and quotes. I love studying people and love and relationships. Country music is my favorite. Sometimes I can be too optimistic for my own good. When I set my mind on something I do it, and I give it my all. I love beautiful things and clever words. I'd rather dream and chase rainbows than live in a dismal reality. I admire people who are witty. I'm always trying to be better than I was before.
